The 8th Annual "Need To Read" Festival

Celebrating the Written Word / Vive la Lecture!

Tuesday May 1, 2007 to Friday May 4, 2007

The Need to Read Festival attempts to raise literacy awareness within the community and to celebrate the written word. This year will mark the eighth festival for the community of Chatham-Kent and the third in Sarnia-Lambton.

Visiting author in this year's festival include: Kelley Armstrong, Nancy Belgue, Hugh Brewster, Ron Broda, Celia Godkin, Kathy Kacer, Caroline Lajoie-Jemppson, Loris Lesynski, Elizabeth MacLeod, Ruth Ohi, Marylyn Peringer, Robert Sawyer, Kathy Stinson, Drew Hayden Taylor and Werner Zimmerman.

These authors will be visiting schools, libraries and community locations throughout Chatham-Kent and Sarnia-Lambton.
